Consumables and Accessories
To help you maximise your enjoyment from your stove, fireplace or fire basket, and keep it in good condition, check out our collection of accessories, installation components, care and maintenance products and replacement consumables available.
Stove Consumables
Stove rope and glue, replacement glass and firebricks. We can change your consumables at service time – just warn us when you book your annual service and sweep – but even with the best care in the world accidents happen and a log can easily go though a glass window, or damage a firebrick. So contact the showroom for replacements any time of year.
Rope and glue kits are £15 + VAT whilst firebricks and glass are supplied to order. Black stove paint is also in stock – other colours are available on order.
Stove Accessories
You can also purchase stove gloves, companion sets, stove fans, flue thermometers and log moisture detectors to make sure your stove is operating at maximum efficiency.
CO Alarms
Carbon Monoxide (CO) alarms are part of building regulations and the correct positioning vital for your safety. It is vitally important to regularly test your alarm and replace it f you find it to be not working correctly. Battery powered alarms have a particular shelf life, so make sure yours is up to date.
CO alarms are available from the shop and cost £30 + VAT
Gas Fire Glass Cleaner
We will clean your gas fire glass at service time, but glass gets dirty and sometimes needs cleaning. When cleaning your gas fire, take care and read and follow the manufacturer’s instructions at all times. Glass cleaner is usually available from the showroom – call ahead just to make sure.
Replacement Coals and Radiants for Gas Fires
Gas fires can last for many years with the correct care and attention, but the ceramic parts in the fuel bed: coals and radiants, can wear out. We have links with specialist companies who provide gas fire coals and radiants for many fires (even very old models), so if your fire needs freshening up, or your fuel bed is dangerously damaged, contact the showroom for spares.
Makes sure you have the fire make and model and preferably its GC (Gas Council) number when inquiring about all Gas Fire spares and replacement parts.
