Our Showroom
Our welcoming fireplace showroom is based in Leagrave, between Luton and Dunstable, in Bedfordshire. Access is easy from junction 11 of the M1 (we also have parking!) and we are within 5 minutes walk of Leagrave train station.
We have over 100 fires, stoves, boilers and fireplaces on display Here you can buy appliances and accessories or you can arrange for the “full works” and have our in-house engineers install your heating appliances.

We don’t take safety lightly either. All our engineers are fully Gas Safe certified (for gas appliances) and HETAS registered (for multifuel and wood burning appliances). Our Gas Safe registered engineers are able to fit all manner of gas appliances – from stand-alone fires and stoves to the very latest, high efficiency gas boilers.
We supply and deliver fireplaces, gas fires, boilers and wood burning stoves from ESSE, Valor, Vaillant, Worcester Bosch, Drugasar, Glen Dimplex, Stovax, Gazco, Flavel, Faber, Nordpeis, Dean and Arada to name but a few.

Our mix of friendly enthusiasm and professional dedication has seen us grow year on year and 2019 was our most successful year ever.
The Team
2019 was also an exciting time for us, as the running of the company was taken over by our long-time Head Engineer James Stewart. James has been with the company over 12 years and is both HETAS and Gas Safe registered.
Founder, Kieran Whelan, has now taken on a more advisory role, but he is still to be seen out and about. He spends half the week, carrying out surveys for new installations, maintaining our customers’ stoves, fires and boilers and running the odd mercy mission, if we are called out to an appliance that needs a repair.
Kieran is also HETAS and Gas Safe registered.
Francis is our Gas Safe engineer specializing in boilers and gas fire installations. You will also meet him each year as he carries out your annual services – very important for your warranties!
The hardest working members of our installation teams are our Engineer’s Assistants: Jack and Anthony. They support James and Francis on the installations. Their day is one long lift, climb, carry, cut, mix, fetch, cut and screw – and they make a mean cup of tea too!
Running the showroom, Simon is always on hand to answer any non-technical questions and to help you choose the right look for your home. We are open 7 days a week in the winter, so you should be able to find a moment to pop in and say hello – there’s sometimes biscuits too!
Last but not least is Oscar, Kieran’s Border Terrier. As Kieran has taken a step away from the day to day hustle and bustle, so has Oscar. But you can still see him in the shop window eyeing up the passers by. He is a bit of a local icon and we often get visitors asking after him if he’s not in for a few days! If you do pop in to the showroom, you can expect a warm greeting and a wag of his tail! He is also the face our “Test It Tuesday” Safety Campaign!
