Our in-house teams of Gas Safe and HETAS engineers are ready to come out to your home for installations, surveys, chimney sweeps, services and call outs.
Installations
Unlike some fire and boiler stockists and showrooms, we employ our own in-house engineers to complete the job that you have asked us to do. This means that, when dealing with Fireplaces and Heating, you only ever have one contact for the sale, the installation and the future care and maintenance for the life of your appliance… or as the boss likes to say: “you only have one person to blame!”

Service Calls
Our main service days are Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but if you need us out on another please ask: we will try to fit you in – especially if it is an emergency. Please note, we are currently only accepting bookings for services from existing customers only
Surveys
For every installation we carry out we will make sure that we survey your home first to make sure that what you want is:
a: going to be safe
b: going to be possible
c: going to do what you need it to do!
Our Online calculator tools for stoves and radiators are very useful, but they can only ever act as a guide line. Make sure that you get your home surveyed by one of our in-house Gas Safe (for gas) and HETAS (for solid fuel) engineers.

Maintenance Calls and Call Outs
Please note, we are currently only accepting bookings for call outs and services from existing customers only
If your appliance has stopped working you can get in touch with our showroom and we will arrange for the relevant in-house Gas Safe or HETAS engineer to come and visit your appliance.
A call out is £75 plus VAT and will cover the call out and first hour of the engineer’s visit. Whilst we carry some spare parts on the vans, it is not possible to guarantee that, if you require parts, your engineer will have them on the van, so it may be that parts will need to be orderd and fitted on a return visit. Extra work, extra visits and parts will be charged for accordingly. Parts are paid for in advance, labour is paid on completion. Additional hours and additional visits are £75 plus VAT.
