The characterful little Dovre 225 multifuel stove hadn’t got the attention it deserves. Another classic look from Dovre, it had a generous maximum output of 7kw, but its’s nominal heat rating was only 4.6kw so you didn’t need an airvent in your room.

It’s slightly bigger brother, the 250, is now the Dovre entry level stove. An alternative would be the Dru 44MF

The Dovre 225 was highly efficient, at 81% and its cast iron body kept heating your room long after you had let the logs burn down.

Dovre’s compact stove featured a fresh look that is at home in both modern and traditional interiors. Incorporating the latest Cleanburn and Airwash technology, this highly efficient cast iron stove provided an excellent view of the flame picture through its glass window.
