DEFRA Approved Stoves for Smoke Control Zones

Homes within Luton, or rather under the control of Luton Borough Council, are within a Smoke Control Zone. This means that any stove installed must be approved by DEFRA.

DEFRA approved stoveHere is a list of stoves available through Fireplaces and Heating Ltd that are DEFRA approved. It is not exhaustive, but is does list those stoves that are available to be seen in our showroom. There are many more available and if the stove you would like is not there, it is probably in one of the many brochures that we also stock in the showroom.

These stoves are available online, to buy “stove only” or we can arrange for one of our in-house HETAS registered engineers to give you a quote to install the stove, line the chimney, prepare and dress your chimney breast and certify with HETAS.
