Electric Fires and Electric Fireplaces
Electric fireplaces are becoming more popular. Remote-controlled, thermostatic for improved efficiency: they look great in a media wall and you can even ask Alexa to turn some of them on!
In Fireplaces and Heating’s Luton showroom we have many effects from the best designers and manufacturers: Dru, Dimplex, E-Studio, E-Reflex, Be Modern, Charlton and Jenrick and Celsi electric fires all grace our showroom… because lets’s face it: seeing a fire, in real life, before you buy, is important!
There are four main types of electric fire. Those designed to fit into a traditional fireplace, those that come with their own mantel, hang-on-the-wall electric fireplaces and hole-in-the-wall electric fires. Each are designed to offer something completely different: from 2 metre wide inset fires nd 3D fires that come with their own false chimney breast with a rebate for your TV to simple 16″ electric inset fires designed to replace your old gas fire.
Hearth Mounted Electric Fires
Our most popular hearth-mounted fire is Be Modern’s Chollerton Electric fire. In standard 16″ and wider 22″ inch formats, its flame effect, glowing fuel bed, sleek lines and stylish trim make it a winning option for anyone’s front room.
Other great fires on display at our showroom include Celsi’s Frontier, Valor’s Dimension and Dimplex’s 3D Electric fire, both with a choice of log and glowing crystal fuel beds. We also have Valor’s Dimension Electric fire and examples of Charlton and Jenrick’s 4D range.
If you want something completely different, try Dimpex’s Optimist range With a water resevoir to source a fine mist lit from underneath the coal bed, it really does look as if you have a real fire in your hearth!

Hole-in-the-wall Electric Fireplaces
Gazco, Celsi, Be Modern and Dimplex all have stunning hole in the wall electric fires – from standard size fires to striking 1950mm wide panoramic electric fires that light up any room as well as providing a gentle warming heat from 1.5kw and 2kw heating elements.

Hang on the Wall and Floor Mounted Electric Fire Suites
The most stunning range of fires are those that come with their own suite. Perfect if you don’t have a chimney breast in which to site your fire. The Dru Virtuo and the E-Reflex Trento both feature in the showroom so that you can compare the effects and controls and choose the one you like.
Hanging above the E-Reflex as you enter our showroom is the Gazco E-Studio wall hung electric fire. It is simple to install and simple to use whilst its 2kw heater heats your room quietly and efficiently.
For electric fires, like no other fire, it is really important to see the flame effect you are buying before you install it in your front room. So make sure you visit the showroom before you buy.
